Day 16

Well, today is the last day of the first month of this photoblog. Of course, it hasn't been a whole month, but it's time for me to make a video of all my pictures from this month. I will post that in the next post. Here is a picture from tonight's vbs.

Day 15

I do believe I'm falling in love with black and white photos. I don't know what it is about them that I love so much, but they just turn out the best in the end. Well, we are getting close to the start of my senior year in high school. GO CLASS OF 2011!!! WOOHOO!!! We just have little over 1 month until school starts. I'm happy, yet sad at the same time.

Day 14

Well, I love just looking around my house looking for things to photograph. My mom loves these statues called Willow Tree. They can be kind of creepy at times because they are all faceless, but it's also a really good quality about them.

Day 13

So I had a bunch of money from my birthday left and I went out and spent it. I used part of it to buy a new black wii remote...haha you might think it's pointless...but oh well. What do you think: white or black?

Day 11

Tonight, Elizabeth and I just messed around with a lot of different picture possibilities. we took some creepy ones with candles and some nice ones with Jack. Here's today's picture:

Day 10

Ok, today I decided to put a picture on here that i barely edited at all. I really like the lighting and the colors in the picture. I'm glad that it turned out this well. All i did was boost the colors just a little bit and turned the strength of the boost down. It was taken in my backyard.

So, here is my second dog, Risa. We got her to do this trick and we are trying to get Jack to learn as well.

Day 8

I thought it would be a good idea to start taking pictures of my pets. This one is of my dog, Jack, who is possibly the most photogenic dog in the world. It's hilarious, some of the faces he makes when we take his picture.

Day 7

Ok, so I am still very sick. I don't know what I have. I'm about to go to the doctor to see if I have strep throat. Anyways...as I am now on day 3 of my sickness adventure, I have learned of many things that bring me comfort while being in pain.



I have my waterbottle, my sprite, my nyquil and dayquil, my ibuprofen, the themometer, and tootsie pops and popsicles. Hopefully this will be done soon!

Day 6

Ok, today's picture isn't that impressive. I have some kind of virus...so all i've been doing is sitting on the couch and watching tv. this is what i look like:



i was too lazy and too sore to get my camera out so this was taken by my webcam...hopefully i will have some ability to move tomorrow

Ok, so anyone that knows me pretty much knows that I am a complete and total Harry Potter nerd. Ask me any question about the books and movies and it will be surprising if I don't know the answer. This is a picture of every single Harry Potter-related book that I have.

Day 4

Well, in case you didn't know...I was in a play recently. A musical as a matter of fact: Calamity Jane. I played Henry Miller. Well, today we had our cast & crew party and it was so much fun! We played lots of ping pong too!

\So, today we went to Virginia Beach to P.F. Changs as a kind of late birthday dinner for me. After, we went to Dam Neck Beach to hang out and take some pictures...Here's Anita looking out at the ocean.

Day 1

Ok, today was a very good day. I have succeeded in getting at least one good picture to post for day 1. Yes, I know it's past midnight, but it still counts so stop complaining! Deep Breath Before the Plunge

Well, my followers, we are at that point where I am getting so excited. We are a mere 4 days away from beginning this journey together. As Gandalf would say, "It's the deep breath before the plunge." What will come out of this blog you ask? Well, I hope to learn a great deal more about photography throughout the next 365 days of blogging. Maybe I will become famous like Julie Powell from Julie & Julia...haha I just watched that movie tonight. To be honest I have no idea what will happen. Most likely the world will have no more knowledge of who Phillip Coon is than what they have right now. Oh well...*sigh*. I'm set for having some pictures for the first day because I am going on a photoshoot with my sister and her best friend. They are both graduating from high school and they asked me to take some pictures of them together just for fun. I am also going to be doing my friend's senior pictures in 2 weeks. I have some awesome locations to shoot at that I'm so excited about! My next post will most likely be my first picture, so, get ready followers!

Prequel

I am still a few days away from beginning my 1 - year adventure, but I wanted to share with you guys this picture of my dog, Jack. I've been editing a lot of pictures lately, messing with different effects to use on my pictures. This is probably my favorite picture that I've taken of Jack...enjoy!
